American Vampire Book Two

Description

American Vampire Book Two continues the vampire saga by Scott Snyder and Rafael Albuquerque. This second standard-sized trade paperback collects American Vampire #13–25 as well as the five-part miniseries American Vampire: Survival of the Fittest #1–5.

Pearl and her husband Henry find themselves at the center of a new conflict. A mysterious vampire hunting organization sends Henry to World War II-era Japan to search for another strain of bloodsuckers. However, Skinner Sweet reappears in this story – along with the question of how he is connected to the new threat.

Later, the narrative returns to the early 19th century and reveals more of Skinner Sweet's origins. Snyder crafts this part of the story with Jordi Bernet. The collection is complemented by the Survival of the Fittest miniseries, drawn by Sean Murphy, which focuses on the secret organization known as the Vassals of the Morningstar.
