Absolute Batman Vol. 1: The Zoo

Absolute Batman – a new DC Comics universe born after the Justice League’s apocalyptic battle with Darkseid. In this world, we encounter a different Bruce Wayne – without Wayne Manor, without Alfred, and with entirely different motives for becoming the Dark Knight.

When a gang of masked killers terrorizes Gotham, a vigilante rises to fight back, but this isn't the Batman you know. Absolute Batman presents a new origin story in which the classic hero is rewritten from scratch. Creators Scott Snyder, Nick Dragotta, and special guest Gabriel Walta provide a fresh and gritty look at the legend.
